Corey Booker - Keynote
I was incredibly impressed with him - his ability to communicate important points with a personal touch was quite amazing. I really enjoyed how he personalized his speech, made you feel as if he was having a conversation with you on a one and one basis.
Good Job Shawn and Missy!

It was absolutely fantastic. If we don't see "Major" Booker on the national stage in the next ten years I'll be stunned.
That's his new nickname, by the way. I'm going to encourage everyone to call him Major from now on

Yes indeed, a "Major" presentation by a fascinating motivational speaker.

I just have to tell you guys and gals that I'm so glad I was right up front... not to bask in his glory, but because no one could see how much I was crying.
What a great (and needed) speech.

And his introduction by the Blue Man group was really cute.
I really did wonder why he was selected, seemed it was not a good match, but after hearing him I knew exactly why Shawn and Missy chose him. Wow. It was great.

Does anyone know of an email address for Mayor Booker? I wrote an email on the plane ride back that I'd like to send to him, but the city website only seems to list phone numbers. The email icon doesn't work for me (could be a Firefox issue I suppose).

I'm afraid I don't even have an email for him - all of my communications were through his staff.
Though it's a technical step into the dark ages, the fax on his card is 973-733-3711.

Thanks, Shawn. Looks like I'll be taking a step back in time and sending an actual letter!

This was the best keynote I have seen in a long time. Corey was inspiring, genuine and encouraging. What he had to say and share, I think, touched not only business successes but just down to earth be good people in every aspect of our day successes. I think the fundamental message here was be good and do good and you'll find you are surrounded by good.
More of these talks at events would be a step in the right direction for more positive growth as an industry.... I do believe.
I'm so glad I was there to experience it first hand!
