Affiliate Convention price increase???

Hi,

I loved the Aff convention in Denver but I am not sure if we will attend LA.

I am just curious if anyone else was told that they would be "grandfathered" in at the initial convention rate?

We were told that we would get the same rate at all future conventions for continued loyalty and for supporting the first convention.

I called to book it and was informed that the "that rate is no longer available!"

I might be wrong but this does not seem right......

Hi Hilary,

That is great to hear. I spoke to Marc Lesnick yesterday and he is the one that stated that you guys could not honor the original price...I think he is pretty much in charge---right?

Well I guess they are not going to respond. I emailed as directed. I got an email read receipt on Friday and have not received a response yet (Tuesday evening).

The Aff Convention was a topic of several conversations here at the Affiliate Summit East (awesome!!) and it turns out that I am not the only facing this issue.

Why do you guys continue to state that you are going to honor your word but not actually follow through with it?

Wow I had no idea that affiliate marketing was so big that conventions are held aroudn the country. Does anyone know if there are going to be any in the NY metro area? Also are videos of the convention, key speakers I guess, available online for downloading?

Well... This was interesting.

You make a good point and I normally would have already walked.

The experience in Denver last year was wonderful. We had a ton of quality affs sign up with our network. Given the cost and the roi we had to stick this out to see if everything would work out....and it did!

No they did not pay me or ask me to say that!! I just wanted to followup and let people know that it worked itself out.
